Via ferrata

Via ferrata trails from beginner to professional level in an abandoned rhyolite tuff quarry. The advantage of the mine is that the quarrying was not done by blasting, but by splitting and fracturing, so it is not cracked. As a result, the smooth surfaces became very suitable for building a spectacular and easy-to-use reinforced road system. Thanks to this, the area has been popular among rock climbers for several years. The quarry is a 33 m high, vertical or curved wall surface. The via ferrata routes are lined with a steel wire rope, to which users can connect with carabiners. The progress is sometimes aided by crampons built into the wall.
