An old dream of the members of Hungarian National Folk Ensamble was fulfilled when they came across the fresh, dynamic, popular music of Nikola Parov, yet recalling ancient motives. Besides the special etno music of the composer sounding saxophone, drums and brass instruments as well, they performe the most dynamic, most sweeing movements of Hungarian folkdance, creating a real dance storm on the stage. This combination has resulted in a 21st century- creative dance theatre vision based on the essence of the music- and dance traditions of the region representing the cult of the Sun, its role in our lives, the connection of its way in the sky and the stages, focal points of human life through special tools of art. Gábor Mihályi, director-choreographer of the production was awarded "Best Creator of the Season" prize by the Association of Hungarian Dance Artists in 2000.
