The members of the band have a significant history as folk musicians, so in Cimbaliband's "witch's kitchen" dishes are prepared based on authentic music drawn from the roots.
And the musical treats are served in such a way that the songs are based on a very special instrument, the dulcimer, spiced up with a little jazz, Latin music, and Balkan rhythms. It is no coincidence that the music magazines refer to Unger Balázs, born in Gödöllő, as the "Chuck Berry of the dulcimer"! With his fast "riffs" he moves and directs the band from behind the real Hungarian acoustic "mixing desk" in a varied style.
