40 years ago, Uncle Feri had a great dream, or maybe not so big: he simply wanted to grow grapes, make fine wine and show it to others. As a result, we now farm a magnificent 25 hectare estate and age our wines in a special five-branch cellar system.

At Szépasszonyvölgy we love to meet tourists and wine lovers coming to Eger, where we offer a very serious assortment of superior and grand superior wines, in addition to the fresh, conversational wines of the weekdays, so there is something to suit everyone.

We offer artisan chocolates, fine cheeses, handcrafted sandwich creams and other snacks on our sunny terrace or in our renovated cellar interiors.

This year we are focusing on the Egri Csillag (Star of Eger), the white sister of the Egri Bikavér (Bull’s Blood of Eger). This fresh dry wine is one of the favourites of the local people of Eger, and we see that  also in other parts of the world it is acquiring more and more fans. We want also you to get to know it. What is more, we want you to discover Eger's gastronomy through this wine - being it a vintage wine or a dish matching the Egri Csillag!
