TRADITION – CULT- BATTLE – VICTORY – FUN
During the festival visitors can experience the heated moments of the glorious siege of 1552.
Visitors are welcome to demonstrations with contemporary weapons, warriors’s trials, they can see traditionalist troops, processions, exhibitions, take part in family programmes, concerts.
Craftsmen of traditional crafts offer their products and show skills of their trade. At the heights of the festival about 200 soldiers revive moments of the glorious defence of the castle in 1552 and scenes of the famous novel Stars of Eger (English version: Eclipse of the Crescent Moon).
