National holiday in the Observatory

With extended opening hours and special programs, the Eger Observatory is preparing for the holiday.

On the occasion of the celebration of the foundation of the state, guided tours at the Science Playhouse and the Miksa Hell Observatory will run until 11 PM. The last show at the Camera Obscura will start at 6 PM.

In addition to the main programs, there will also be extraordinary classes on chemistry, physics, and astronomy topics, planetarium shows, and stargazing at night—weather permitting.

Once again, it will be possible to watch the fireworks from the Panorama Terrace. Participation in this program requires prior registration! Registration is possible at the ticket desk located in the Lyceum's entrance hall or via the e-mail address: info@egricsillagvizsgalo.hu.

From 9:30 PM in the reception room on the 3rd floor, guests can taste the new bread accompanied by wines from Eszterházy Károly Catholic University.

All programs on our National Holiday are free of charge!
