Verdi’s Requiem is one of the most moving masterpieces in music history.
On Friday, 21 August 2026, the work will be performed at Eger Basilica by the International Youth Choir—a 240-member youth choir from 11 countries—with the participation of outstanding opera singers including Adrienn Miksch, Atala Schöck, Attila Fekete and András Kiss. The Era Nova Orchestra, formed by students of the Liszt Academy of Music, and the monumental choir will be conducted by Michael Alber.
