Liana is a Budapest-based band formed in 2022 by vocalist Lilla Julianna Kató and keyboardist László Lukács, later joined by drummer Nikosz Tasos and bassist Patrik Iski.
Their music blends elements of dreampop and folkpop, enriched by Hungarian and international folk influences, as well as dreamy, magical atmospheres. In 2023, the band won the Fülesbagoly talent competition, and their debut album, “Erdők, lépcsők, csillagok” (“Forests, Stairs, Stars”), was released in autumn 2024 and presented live to audiences. Their songs often feature fairy-tale motifs, nature-inspired imagery, and personal experiences, creating a unique and sensitive world for listeners.
