On June 14th, the 2025 open-air event series at the Szépasszonyvölgy Márai Visitor Center will begin with a special family concert by Judit Halász, titled "Csiribiri".
Judit Halász is a beloved Hungarian actress and singer who, alongside her acting career, has pioneered a unique genre: for decades, she has brought the poetry of Hungary’s greatest writers to life through music, especially for children. Her albums-set to music by leading Hungarian composers-have accompanied generations of Hungarian families.
With 18 albums released, Judit Halász’s first full-length concert film was recently produced. The "Csiribiri" concert features a selection of songs from this film, highlighting the most popular pieces from her extraordinary career.
Her latest albums include “A vitéz, a kalóz, meg a nagymama” (2021) and a greatest hits collection, “Miénk a világ” (2022).
Judit Halász is dedicated to inspiring a love of poetry and music in children and families, using her songs to gently share important values and life lessons.
She is a member of the Vígszínház Theatre, a board member of UNICEF Hungary, and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Kossuth Prize and the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary. She was also the first recipient of the “Order of Smiles” in Hungary, chosen by children themselves.
