Szabó Balázs Bandája is a Hungarian folk and folk-funk band founded in 2009 by Balázs Szabó after the disbandment of his previous group, Suhancos. Their music uniquely blends elements of Hungarian folk music, rock, blues, and funk, creating a distinct and diverse sound. Known for their varied lyrics and dynamic performances, they have released several successful albums, including the Fonogram Award-winning "Élet elvitelre." Their concerts often feature classical musical arrangements and elements from different genres, performed by acclaimed musicians. The band regularly holds sold-out shows in Hungary and neighboring regions and has represented Hungary at prestigious events such as the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival.
