The Csík Band is one of the most acclaimed representatives of Hungarian folk music, enjoying unbroken popularity for 37 years.
Throughout its career, the band has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Kossuth Prize, the Prima Primissima Award, the Hungarian Heritage Award, and the Fonogram Award.
In their concerts, they combine traditional folk music with contemporary musical styles while honoring and preserving cultural traditions. Their performances are always special, offering something memorable for every listener.
The band frequently collaborates with renowned artists such as Gábor Presser, János Karácsony, András Lovasi, Tibor Kiss, László “Hobo” Földes, and Norbi Bagossy.
As of 2025, the band continues its journey in a renewed form with the talented young singer and violinist Tibor Gál, maintaining the musical spirit and energy that define the Csík Band.
