- Begins along the Tauernradweg (Tauern Cycle Path), then continues on the Ennsradweg (Enns Cycle Path) and the Murradweg (Mura Cycle Path).
- Passes through Graz, the capital of Styria and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Continues through Burgenland, traversing thermal and volcanic regions as well as spa towns.
- Entering Hungary:
- The route crosses the Őrség National Park, follows the northern shore of Lake Balaton, and then, via Budapest, Gödöllő, Hatvan, and Gyöngyös, arrives in Eger.
- From Eger, the route heads east towards Lake Tisza and ends in Debrecen.
