Night of Museums 2025

The Night of Museums is one of Hungary’s largest and most popular cultural events, held annually since 2002, typically on the Saturday closest to Midsummer Night.

On this special night, hundreds of museums and cultural institutions across the country open their doors to visitors, who—with a single wristband—can access numerous exhibitions, guided tours, concerts, interactive programs, and unique events, often until dawn. The aim of the event is to bring museums closer to all age groups, highlight the importance of cultural heritage, and turn museum visits into a communal experience. With annually changing themes, featured venues, and an ever-expanding program selection, the Night of Museums guarantees that every visitor will find something exciting and new on this extraordinary night.
