We organized the first Eger Studio Theater Dance Festival in 2012 with the intention of creating a tradition, with the aim of offering the widest possible range of dance productions to audiences of all ages in Eger and the North-Eastern Hungarian region.
It is a given that since then, in the last week of September of every season, dance plays the main role at the Géza Theater in Gárdonyi.
From the very first occasion, such well-known ensembles as the Bozsik Yvette Társulat or the Pál Frenák Társulat accepted our invitation. Since then, several of them have been returning guests of our festival.
To our great delight, the Egri Studio Theater Dance Festival has found enthusiastic supporters and is on solid footing.
