The Thousand Years and Future of Handicrafts in the Carpathian Basin program, organized by the Heves County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, returns to Eger as the twentieth stop of the national series of events based on decades of tradition.

A large-scale exhibition lasting three weeks reflects the versatility and creativity of Hungarian artisans, and the intention to unleash the potential of artisanal art in accordance with today's expectations. An intersection that supports economic, cultural and mental well-being.

Craftsmanship is endless, as ancient motifs and techniques are reborn and conquering space with the innovative use of materials and the application of modern techniques. The theme of the exhibition is based on the results of neuroaesthetic research, which has been scientifically proven to ignite the centers in our brain that sense beauty, aesthetics and, in parallel, satisfaction, joy, and peace. They do this with colors, music, scents and the creative objects themselves.

The exhibition presents the full potential inherent in craftsmanship, which makes craft art a personal experience for all of us.
