VASAS MŰVEK: EXIST

Our contemporary society raises the question of what it means to be a woman in the world of today and at all times. In the performance, two women, two individuals, search for answers, independently and in relation to each other. They represent each other's friend, rival, brother, mother, and sometimes they are each other's projections, each other's polar opposites. Although they are different, the expectations placed on them by society create a common destiny between them.

The play approaches the topic with blunt, raw honesty and wry humor. The dynamics of the 21st century can be found in the dance language, visual and musical world of the performance, the feeling of unrest, erotic overheatedness, lack of restraint and lack of a way out. The play's conclusion is much more a question to the audience than an exact answer. How a woman is capable of true fulfillment. How does he relate to the issue of masculinity. How can you deal with your reflection, your addictions and your greatest enemy, time.

Choreographer: Erika Vasas

The performance was created with the support of the Imre Zoltán Program.

FELEDI PROJECT: DON QUIJOTE

Today's man, who dreams of a world and a life different from the masses, wears clothes and masks to cope with everyday life and tries to make the world around him better, at least by condemning its decline. But he is a lonely man, a madman to many, marginalized. The contemporary Don Quixote is a man who is deceived, disappointed, and transformed from an ironic and carefree dreamer into a tragic character.

Sancho Panza is the basis of the story of the knight errant, but the show is about the courage that one has to fight against the disappointment that one faces in the face of reality. Today, man is going through a cruel vision of reality, in which there is no room for imagination, fantasy, expectations, and the realization of an existing project with which he can identify. Life always forces people to make unusual compromises, defeats, and sorrows, but with a hint of idealism, every madman can be wiser than he can imagine, and despite all appearances, he can discover his true essence. Its existence.
