It was a huge honor for the people and winemakers of Eger and the Egri wine region when in March 2017, as the first red wine in the country, our flagship wine, Egri Bikavér, received the title of hungaricum, representing the pinnacle of Hungarian value.

Commemorating the anniversary of the event and strengthening cooperation, the Egri Bikavér hungarikum hosts the country's renowned gastro-hungarians for the fourth time in Hungary's largest, unique historical wine district. Cultural and gastronomic values ​​embodying the top achievements of Hungarians, as well as the country's gastronomic and craft specialties, will be presented at the event.

The most famous gastro-Hungarian dishes in one place: mutton stew from Karcag and Galaburgyi from Karcag, fish soup from Baja, gray beef goulash from Hortobágy, sausage from Csaba, charcoal-grilled double sausage from Debrecen in a homemade miller's house, Hungarian goose breast slices, Gundel pancakes, horn cake...

In addition to the hungaricum Egri Bikavér, you can also taste other hungaricums, fröcs and pálinka in the cellars and restaurants of Valley of the Beautiful Woman.
