Józsi Hegedűs grew up in a village in Békés County, and although his family didn’t understand what he was doing with the guitar, when he moved to Budapest and applied to the Kikeltető talent show, the city’s musician community quickly embraced him.
In his music, Hungarian alternative traditions meet lyrical self-confession. His lyrics reflect on past experiences, self-reflection, and the subtle vibrations of everyday moments.
