Galagonya and Her Band have been serving children and event organizers since 2006. They have traveled across the country performing at various events. All their songs are original compositions, which allows for a diverse range of styles in their music. Their repertoire includes everything from rock and disco to Latin ska. The songs are simple, easy to remember, and encourage active participation.
The band leader, who is a kindergarten and drama educator, actress, and mother, emphasizes the importance of play between parent and child being enjoyable without the need for any tools. Whether it’s playing in the bathtub with a sick child, resting in bed when tired, or performing on a big stage, the connection remains. They have received feedback from parents who said they could only bathe their feverish child if they sang the “USZIDAL” song together, or that their child could only fall asleep while listening to the “ALTATÓ” lullaby.
Their core message is TOGETHERNESS. They stress this at every performance, stating that a Galagonya és Barátai concert is truly fun when everyone participates because a child has the most fun when mom and dad are there with them. Children love to party together with their parents, and only then can they truly relax.
