Live music, value, experience: The György Szepesi Bar Musicians' Festival in Eger from July 6-8.
For the sixteenth time, those looking for lighthearted yet high-quality summer entertainment with live music can celebrate together in Eger. This event pays tribute to the enduring values of rich popular music traditions.
The finest masters of rarely heard instruments (such as the electric viola, accordion, and banjo), emerging and established singers, as well as local performers, bands, and soloists, will ensure that every concert delivers a unique experience. Through Hungarian and international melodies, the performers will showcase the diversity of the genre, proving that live music can never be replaced by any digital playlist.
The outdoor concert series kicks off on Monday and Tuesday evenings on the pedestrian street—in front of the Kracker House—while on Wednesday evening, Kis Dobó Square will host the musicians.
Since the concerts take place in the public spaces of the city center, they are completely free for everyone to attend.
