The Eger Antique Fair has now become one of the largest and most popular fairs in the country, welcoming visitors every third Sunday of the month along the promenade behind the Basilica, next to the bus station, on Városfal Street, and in the Domus parking lot.
The fair’s unique atmosphere is guaranteed by its historical setting, the green surroundings of the classicist Basilica, and more than a hundred vendors arriving from almost every part of the country. Visitors can browse among thousands of antiques, artworks, furniture, books, and folk art objects, while buffets, restaurants, free parking, and the panorama of the baroque city center complete the experience.
The fair stretches from the promenade behind the Basilica, through the winding alleys around the bus station, across the square in front of the Express Restaurant, along Városfal Street, all the way to the Domus parking lot, making it a truly atmospheric and large-scale event.
