The event season in Eger starts with the Egri Csillag (Star of Eger) Wine Weekend.
With the arrival of spring, we can meet the newest, freshest Egri Csillag (Star of Eger) wines, from the best wineries of Eger at the heart of the city, Dobó square.
It is the most important white wine of the Eger wine region, which captivates everyone with its fresh, floral and fruity aroma. Every year, the blended white wine brings the first sparkling, lively outdoor event, where, in addition to the wineries, other exhibitors and musical experiences await the visitors.
This year, nearly 20 wineries and several gastro exhibitors will also present their products at the event, which evokes the atmosphere of an old fair, in a unique, historic environment. The winemakers will, of course, offer red and rosé wines in addition to the Eger's Star Weekend for 4 days.
