Easter in the Castle of Eger
From Good Friday to Easter Monday, your program runs at the Dobó István Castle Museum, where interested parties can choose from a number of options.
In addition to the knights of the Castle of Eger, the Egri Vitézlő School, the Pattantyús Martalócok and the Bakocsai István Kompánia will also be present within the walls of the fortifications.
The knights of Egri Castle hold interactive guided tours of the various exhibitions 7 times a day.
On Holy Saturday, the Bornemissza Cup historical archery competition is held in the Castle of Eger, where hundreds of athletes dressed in period costumes compete against each other.
From Sunday, the main role will be played by the craftsmen: there will be male egg making, an egg shoeing demonstration, a craft playhouse, family puzzle solving, a folk playground and a petting zoo.
