Kamaraopera festival

A special and unique cultural event takes place in Eger every year on the first weekend of November: the Eger Kamaraopera Festival. Fans of classical music can hear special performances in exciting locations, always accompanied by top gastronomy. The goal of the festival, created in cooperation with the Eger Symphony Orchestra, Eszterházy Károly University and the Kepes Institute, is to present classical music from the perspective of young artists looking for new paths. The concept is always groundbreaking and modern. On the three days of this year's event, from classical to contemporary, from shadow opera to alternative music theater, all ages can find something to their liking, but connoisseurs of fine arts, dance and gastronomy can also expect special treats.
