During the three-day festival th ebest known gastro-hungaricums of the country are hosted by Egri Bikavér Hungarikum in the biggest and best-known historical wine district of Hungary, in Szépasszonyvölgy (Valley of the Beautiful Woman) of Eger.
At the event cultural, gastronomic, natural and handcraft values representing the top performance of the Hungarians are introduced. The most famous gastro-hungaricums, like mutton stew of Karcag, fishsoup of Baja or Szeged, csabai or debreceni sausages, grey cattle goulash, chimney cake can be tasted at the same time, at one place. In the Street of Local Flavours you can get acquainted with gastronomic specialities of the surroundings of Eger. The choice of Hungaricums is completed by folk concerts, exhibitions, children theatre performances, giant puppeteers, stork-leg performers, archery shows and Hungaricum Toypark.
